Current research project:

EU-Professionalism. A Study on the Professionalization of EU-Expertise.

(Co-director together with Steffen Mau, Humboldt University of Berlin, within the framework of the transregional resarch group "Horizontal Europeanization", funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft from May 2012 until April 2018).

2004: Graduation in Sociology (Diplom) at the University of Bamberg (Germany), majoring in "Studies of Global and European Society"

since 2015 member and co-organiser of the tri-national research conference "Social politics between the resilience of nation states and a new European organisation" at the Villa Vigoni (Italy), funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, Villa Vigoni and Fondation Maison des Sciences de l’Homme.
